New York Trip Itinerary:
Tuesday, April 2nd

• Catonsville students, meet at 8:15 at the Catonsville Q building (students can sleep in Van). We will go at 8:30 sharp.
• Essex students, meet at 8:45 at CCBC Essex E Building (students can sleep in Van). We will go at 9:00 sharp.
• 2:00, arrive at hotel, unpack van, and stow bags in hotel
• walk to SoHo galleries and Cooper Union
• 8:00 Dinner at Da Nico Ristorante *This dinner is included in trip cost.

Wednesday,  April 3rd

• 10:00 Meet in hotel lobby. We will walk and take the subway to the Guggenheim museum to view the Gutai Exhibtion. *This exhibition is included in the trip cost.
• After visiting the Guggenheim, the afternoon is free. The Guggenheim is next to Central Park. If the sun is out, explore Central Park on foot.

Thursday, April 4th

• Check out of rooms and stow baggage with hotel storage before 10:00.
• 10:00 Meet in hotel lobby. We will walk and take the subway to the Metropolitan Museum.
• 2:00 Meet at the Metropolitan Museum entrance. Walk and take the subway back to the hotel.
• 3:00 retrieve luggage, pack vans
• If traffic permits, we’ll arrive at CCBC by 9:00.

ADIM club trip to Philadelphia

Vital data for all going to Philadelphia:

1. The hotel has a pool. Bring a suit if you’d like to swim.

2. Bring a sleeping bag if you do not wish to share a bed.

3. Wear good walking shoes and bring an umbrella.

4. Your fee includes one dinner. Bring spare cash for other meals.

5. If you’d like to tour the University of the Arts, you must schedule a tour 800-616-ARTS. If you’d like to tour Tyler, you must register online. http://www.temple.edu/appdev/admissions/visits/event.asp?e=5

6. If you are planning to keep a car on campus overnight, see the public safety office to register your vehicle.

7. Do not arrive late. We can’t wait for latecomers.

Enjoy after hours access to the exhibition, live performances by Nathan Bell and Smooth Kentucky, an artist meet and greet, light refreshments, and cash bar. This event is FREE!

The Embassies

The CCBC International Club invites you to tour the embassies.

A sign-up sheet for this trip is available in the Catonsville International Student Services Office (K-102).

Here are the details:

The trip is $10 per person which will be refunded once on the bus. If they do not show up, they don’t get their money back.

We will be leaving at 9:00am on Saturday May 5^th from the parking lot in front of the Library (Y).

The Embassies open around 10am and close around 4pm.

We will be splitting into small groups once we arrive and meeting back at the bus at pick-up time (4pm).

The bus will leave around 4pm and arrive back at CCBC around 5:00pm

At this point in time food is not being provided, so please be prepared to buy your lunch in DC.

Please don’t bring too many extra things as some Embassies have security checkpoints, metal detectors, or may ask you to check your bags while inside the Embassy. You may also have to leave water bottles outside at some Embassies.

Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk. There is a free shuttle which makes several stops up and down Embassy row. We will provide a list of participating Embassies, their addresses, and a basic map of the area.

This trip is only open to CCBC students, staff, and faculty. All participants will be asked to sign a waiver and provide emergency contact information.
