Highlights: Virginia Commonwealth University Art Department tour, Virginia Museum of Fine Art
Dates: November 18-19
Departure Campuses: Catonsville Building Q

Special Notes: We will be paying for museum admissions, hotel, travel, and one dinner. Please bring money for remaining meals. Remember you will be sharing hotel rooms with fellow students (up to four students per room with two queen sized beds). Please prepare to share a bed or bring a sleeping bag. Bring an activity for our road trip. Be prepared for long walks! We will explore Richmond on foot.

Friday, November 18

8:45- Meet at CCBC Catonsville Q building entrance

9:00 – SHARP – on the road, no exceptions, in the van or else!

12:00 – Lunch and gallery hopping on West Broad St.

1:30 – meet at 1708 gallery and walk to VCU

2:00  – tour VCU with a former CCBC student/current VCU student

4:00 – hotel check in, Crowne Plaza Richmond

7:30 – meet in hotel lobby, walk to restaurant

8:oo – Dinner (We will pay for this dinner)

Saturday, November 19
8:30 -  (optional) meet in hotel lobby for a riverside walking tour

11:00 – Meet in hotel lobby/check out

12:00 Visual Art Center of Richmond/lunch

1:00 – meet at vans, go to the Virginia Museum of Fine Art

3:00 – on the road

7:00 – (approximately) back at CCBC Catonsville

7:00 AM SHARP- on the road, no exceptions, in the van or else!

4:00 p.m. – tour RISD with former CCBC student/current RISD student Paul Brazio

6:00 p.m. – check in, Wyndham Garden Providence

8:30 p.m. – Dinner at Parakang Thai Restaurant (We will pay for this dinner)

Saturday, October 22nd

9:30 am – Meet in hotel lobby to head to Boston

12 p.m. – Tour at the List Visual Arts Center on the MIT campus

3 p.m. – Tour at the Institute of Contemporary Art

6 p.m. – Dinner at Café Jaffa (Middle Eastern Food) in Boston (We will pay for this dinner)

After dinner – Head back to Providence

Sunday, October 23rd

9:30am- hotel checkout

10 am SHARP- on the road

12:00- Lunch in New Haven

1:00- Yale University Art Gallery highlights tour

3:00 on the road

10:00 PM (approximately) arrive at CCBC
